Why buy American? Reply #4 – July 11, 2007, 09:23:17 PM Years ago when I was a kid I saw a pylon (now I know what they are called) and decided to run over it. I was driving a VW bug at the time and hit it at about 50mph. I thought what could it do it's rubber.That thing made all kinds of noise and and scared me to death. Then it got stuck in my back bumper and sounded like it pulled my engine out. I had to stop and boy was it tangled up there, took me 10 minutes plus to get it out. Why buy American? Reply #5 – July 11, 2007, 09:48:59 PM Pylons and concrete polls...They come out of nowhere. I know from exsperience.The pylon reminds me of the time I was working at a tire shop. This guy cam in and said his daughter was complaing about a noise in the front end. So we filled out the paper work and pulled the car in. Pull the first tire off put it on the balancer nothing s we put it back on. we take the other side off and die laughing. this pylon was wrapped around the front suspention on this honda so bad we had to cut it out. We called the guy out to the shop and aske d if he wanted to keep it. He replied "Yes I'm going to put it in my daughters bed and let her explain it when she gets home." Quote Selected

Reply #9 – July 11, 2007, 11:41:24 PM dude, this is the exact reason why i think its unbelivable that someone would brake check a 80's thunderbird. if i can take a 160lb deer dead center at 45mph and not ruin the structure of the car (i measured and measured to make sure) then a honda has NO CHANCE when they brake check me. one day, ONEEEEEEE DAY, right in the kissa!
