Differential cover needed....

I need a CHEAP 1989 and up Thunderbird IRS differential cover asap.
'88 Sport--T-5,MGW shifter,Trick Flow R intake,Ed Curtis cam,Trick Flow heads,Scorpion rockers,75mm Accufab t-body,3G,mini starter,Taurus fan,BBK long tube headers,O/R H-Pipe, Flowamaster Super 44's, deep and deeper Cobra R wheels, Mass Air and 24's,8.8 with 3.73's,140 mph speedo,Mach 1 chin spoiler,SN-95 springs,CHE control arms,aluminum drive shaft and a lot more..

Got one....doesn't work.

IRS covers have the differential mount cast into them.

vinnie, what were you attemping, and why didnt it work?

The cover from a T-Bird/Cougar (with an IRS) has mounting holes cast into the back of the cover (in the middle) for the support bracket,and if you remove them,it'll leave a hole in the back of the cover,and if you leave the rear end support intact,the swaybar will hit it.

i coulda saved you whatever $$ you paid for the IRS cover(not much i ASSuME). :punchballs:

I read that this morning.Fila got a cover for me and is going to send it to me asap so i can finsh the rear for my car.I'm going to install the T-Bird axles and brakes in it (The Stang rear) so I can get it into my car quick.There were no Explorers when I went to the yard.Otherwise I would've snagged one.
