Clean '84 5.0 June 19, 2007, 11:45:11 PM It certainly doesn't have only 16000 Miles, But it's pretty clean for the mileage it does have...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-Thunderbird-Ford-Thunderbird-1984-Mint-Condition-ONLY-16-000-miles_W0QQitemZ290130145098QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item290130145098Interesting chrome along the bottom body line too. Quote Selected

Clean '84 5.0 Reply #2 – June 20, 2007, 01:49:43 AM The mileage is read as 6 digits long, People often misread the mileage on the 83-84 cars due to the fact that the 6th digit is white and not black like the others, So they think the mileage is only at 5 digits.I may be wrong on this, Someone correct me if i am, But this is how i know it to be for these clusters. Clean '84 5.0 Reply #3 – June 20, 2007, 09:12:42 AM Um...the white part of the odometer is for tenths of a mile...always has been. Look at the trip odometer below it, it's the same way. When the odometer rolled over to 100,000 there was no 1.The chrome on the rocker panels was an option. That being said...it's a ed clean car. Nice. Quote Selected
Clean '84 5.0 Reply #4 – June 20, 2007, 10:09:02 PM Seriously???Ok, Now i really sound like a bird newbie... But i actually have not driven my 'bird far enough to notice the mileage change.I was told by the original owner AND a tow truck person that the mileage was read as 6 digits, And 6 digits is how the cluster reads on our other vehicles. :punchballs:I'm psyched to hear this is false... I've always been worried about the mileage on my car, I think this has also added to my delay on working on it. :hick: Quote Selected
