I got my halo!

2 of em in fact. :hick:

A/C Blower went out in moms van so went to the junkyard to pick one up, Plenty to choose from... i counted about 12 86-90 caravans. :flame:
Checked the '89 turbo caravan for some goodies but they were gone, Grabbed the blower out of the '89 with 61,000 miles on it... :hick:.

Anyway, Checked the lot for any birds or cats and only found an '87 base V6 that was pretty well sped already.

Then in the very back i spotted an Escort GT with Halo headrests calling to me.
I got my trusty hacksaw blades and went to work.
Last year about this time i found an escort gt at closing time and didnt have the tools to get the headrests out, the seats were real nice so i didnt want to knife them... i come back the next to day to find the seats gutted and the halos gone. :punchballs:

Here's my halos, a little darker than my interior, but i aint complainin':

On the way out i noticed a real beauty of a bird, i get closer and i cant believe my eyes to this car in here.
They had to have just put this in the yard, It's a '93 V6 metallic teal? with perfect body and perfect paint.
upon further inspection the engine is complete other than clipped cables (they love to do that at this yard) and the interior is complete minus the radio...
I'm drooling at this point and sad at the same time to see it in here so i go ask how much for it, and they say they dont sell the cars whole, all titles are gone and sold to the state or something.

This beautiful bird is gonna get raped and crushed. >.<

I even picked up the manuals that were thrown all over the interior:

As i walked out, i looked back to see it getting taken apart... Makes me sad to see things like this.
I know its not 5.0 or Supercharged, Or anything special but it was in perfect condition.. and it doesnt even look like they tried to salvage it. :mad:

I have a full 95 and 91 set of book too. Cool little finds man.

If they will just sell parts, say " I want everything but the engine" Then go back 5 min later and "say I want the engine" they arent selling it whole that way lol
