298 vs 302

Does anyone know what the difference between the 289 and 302 crank is besides the stroke. I've heard the 289 has a 2 piece main seal and the 302 has a 1 pieces.

302s had 2 piece up untill 83 when they went to a 1 piece. not sure about the other part of your question
