Funny question...but please have a look...

Okay, don't rag on me for this question. It's simply a "I wonder" question. It has to do with exhaust. When i feel the exhaust coming out of my pipes, one side seems to have more exhaust flowing out. I've heard that a lot of cars have one side that flows more and gets hotter than the other side. I have 3-chamber flowmasters on right now and I was "wondering" what would happen/how it would sound if I put a 2-chamber flowmaster on the side that was flowing less exhaust. Basically I'm just wondering about the sound part of this question rather than the performance. But what do you guys think would happen to the sound and performance. Just something to ponder. Thanks.

Bryan

I dont think it would be advisable to run two different lers due to varrying back pressure between them, could do more harm than good.

Other than probably being a little louder, I doubt there will be much difference in actual flow at low speeds. Flow at higher speeds is probably OK anyway. May get a little improvement at the strip, but not likely anything the old assometer could feel...

As far as different lers hurting anything... not a chance. I ran the restrictive single exaust orignal TC driver side ler, along with a better flowing 5.0 Stang passenger side ler for 1 1/2 years on my Bird.

the lers that origionaly came with the dule exhaust were different anyway. ford used 2 different ler sizes to reduce exhaust drone.

Thats right I think I remember the stockers being different sizes. I wonder if two different flowmaster sizes would reduce drone? Hmm..
