Is there a bulb in the back part of the gauge clusters?

My left side(fuel, oil, water temp) gauges are dark. I can see the gauges if you look just right.
The other 2 sections of the dash are lite up and dim when you turn the lights on?

 Thanks for any insight.
  Later Greg

Yes, there are bulbs. They are halogen, but you can replace them with plain ol' 194's. Just do yourself a favour and replace EVERY bulb when you have the cluster out

Go for the long-life ones too and clean the copper contacts.

I checked on those Halogen bulbs for the digi cluster once. They were special order. $35ea I was WTF. I did without speedo Light that was back in the days before I had the NET and had such a killer place with fellow Fox bird/cougar lovers to help each other out.

Just to clarify, I was referring to the long life 194 bulbs.

Hell, if you're in the mood, I would advise cleaning your cluster using a microfiber lens polishing cloth if you have one. I used low-gloss armor-all with a camera lens cloth and the cluster looked brand new. The cluster comes apart allowing for detailed cleaning. Word of warning though, the "unleaded fuel only" comes off easily so if you want it off, good, but if (for some strange reason) you want to keep the stock look to your cluster, be careful with the amount of moisture you expose that writing to.
Also, the needles are so delicate, they can be moved if you breathe on them so patience and delicate handling is required.
Oh, and if you have plastic polish, that will bring the cluster lens cover back to life too.
