Texas gold coming out of my valve cover.

I seem to be spitting (more like seeping) oil out of my oil fill cap. It's one of those caps with the clutch built in to prevent overtightening. Has anyone had this problem with their 2.3t? The oil pressure did seem awfully high today on my way to work. While the other day it seemed kinda low.

Also the engine seems to be running ridiculously smooth... which worries me because that could signal the calm before the storm. :(

I'll check it, but it's a fairly new Motorcraft valve. Less than an oil change intervals worth of miles on it.

One thing I did forget about is the breather on the back of the valve cover is no longer hooked up to the compressor inlet. Just straight atmos.

I used to BLOW oil out of every possibly place from my valve cover. It coated the hood, the header, the turbo, everything. I actually had a fire because of it.

I run the breather line from the valve cover, to a catch can, from the catch can, to a check valve, and from that, to the intake.
It's Gumby's fault.

That's what I'm afraid of. Fire. Mine isn't nearly that bad though.

I'm going to add an Oil Separator similar to this Steeda piece. Did a quick search and I found a DIY for less than half the price here.  I can't believe they want $70 for that thing.

Similar Install on a CTS-V.

add a one way check valve in the pcv hose.99.9% of the time the pcv wont seal under boost blowing oil out every easy exit.
