Made It To The Track Finally!! :d

Well guys, I finally made it out to the track today. The goal was to beat the 15.20 I ran last year. I think I succeeded  I will get the time slip scanned in later to add to the top 25 list!

60' 2.1
1/4 14.40
mph 95

This was done on 18# of boost, 3" exhaust, green top injectors, TA computer, small vane meter, ET streets, and 93 octane with a little torco fuel accelerator!  My dad is in the room, so I can NOT pull the slips out to scan them. ...I was just going up to watch Bob race, right? hehe

1985.5 SVO
1984 Fullsize Bronco- 300, NP435

Its still slow :D Nah, its starting to get faster ;) Just wait until the rest of the parts go on there and we can put a real tune up on it :headbang: I might be better off working on yours some more, all I keep doing is slowing mine down ;)

Well Mike, where are your slips? Instead of chasing your stuff, we are setting the pace here. You going to take the bait and actually race a TC or just talk about it some more???? :flame: You screwed up, Frankie got all the fast parts ;) and by the way, had a .000 perfect light today :D :D

Kidding aside, remember this car is STILL a stock never opened 83 engine (small cam), small VAM and green tops. I think there is a 14.10 ish pass in there I we can get it to 60'. I think the other thing that motivated him was the threat of ME driving it for him if he didnt run the number :D

Dont know yet? Nothing bad, Its running 12.60 ish passes and loosing MPH. To top it off, it wont respond to anthing I do right now. (Cam timing from +4 to -2 no change in MPH) I think the valvesprings went flat on it :beatyoass:  Still going to bracket race it Sunday, was there to work on race day stuff and help Frank as much as anything anyway. :D

I'm just glad we can scratch "15 Second Frank" off the list. This started as 17 Second Frank, went to 16 second Frank, then we hung at 15 second Frank after the clutch fiasco last fall. He should post the details of the passes, but the first out of the box was a 14.80 today, we tuned .40 out of that car today, I think we could have got a 14.30 if there was one more pass (air was just starting to get better). I think he is hooked, now I', either going to charge rent, or make him buy those ET streets ;) He hits a 13.XX, and I will quit posting its still slow after EVERY post he makes.

I did a bracket last weekend with the GTO. Got beat by .0012 :(

We have to get John's TC together before Layla (It's blocking the driveway :hick: ) No big deal, the MaxPSI lines just showed up and the T3 is ready to go (bought it with a bad turbo, he happened to have a new T3 and a ported E6, so why not). In 2 weeks (5/18 and 5/19) we plan to take it down the track a few times. (It's called "Deuce". We have so &%^#^$ cars we have to name them all to keep it straight. The truck is called Stitch) After that it's nothing but  MY car. I just need to get my butt in gear an get it DONE.

Added you in the Top 25 Frank. I expect a slip so I can make the numbers more accurate though. Typing them in will suffice as well. ;)

Fastest TC on the board!  Way to go Frank.

I guess Mike is never taking his to the track,  he'd rather run that 18 second puppiesanese thing or the Cavalier with a v8(GTO)?

That Cavalier with a V8 will decimate 90% of the TC's on NATO and the V8 cars here dead stock.

I'm trying to get mine done but everybody elses %$#& keeps getting in my way. John's TC will be done tomorrow barring any major catastrophes, I should have slips on that next weekend. Gotta make the $$$ to get the Tweecer or MSD EFI set-up for my 56#s.

And the Nismo was built in Tennessee with 85% American content :hick: More American then a fourth gen aro!!!

Oooh! Got it fixed then? :D

John's T3 TC WILL be at PIR in 2 weeks (19&20th). I'm not making any promises on Layla but I'm tired of not having it driving. I'm thinking Memorial Day Weekend is looking good for a thrash-fest re-assembly ;)

Didn't I tell you I bracketed the GTO last week? Went out first round by .0012 :hick:

I didn't red bulb, but for once I got schooled on the light (.104 to a .067) but I caught him easily. I was playing with him at the top end and let off just a *little* too much. Oh well, I'll try again next month.

My number is 15C but after the 30 pass thing this week they want me to be 30P :hick:
