Me and Bill got some work done!

I think that Whipple's pulley is far too large

6 PSI is fine for now.  I'm right around 400 HP to the tires with this setup.

Eric, the body is steel.  Sadly, it has a GM motor lurking under the bonnet.  Like I said, If he's at Captree Sunday, I'll grab some more pics.

Need to turn the wick up on that...

The GTO made 411rwhp/430rwtq with a drop-in K&N and a tune...

:D

The dyno tune is in 2 weeks.  BTW 300 hp Mustangs smoke 350 hp GTO's all day long......

No they don't. Because GTO's are 400HP :D (05's and 06's, the 04's are 350). We ran 13.34@108.2 dead stock. OE tires, spare in the trunk, paper air filter, factory oil, the works. Exactly how it drove off of the lot. A set of DR's nets 12.80's to go with the MPH. A tune drops it to 12.60's. We'll know for sure on the tune numbers by fall.

Your combo is good for 500+ rwhp if the ads are to be believed, and I'd LOVE to see that! The only 4.6's I like are blown/turbo'ed 3V/4V ones and the Whipple is one of my favorites. Plus I like that your keeping yours clean and a GT instead of ricing it out and turning into a confused horse of many names :hick:

I was speaking of the '04.  I am quite aware of the bigger motor installed in the '05 and '06 models, hence the reason I din't generalize and say just "GTO's"

FYI there are manual equipped BONE stock GT time slips at the time you've shown. Stop granny Shiftin!:hick: :hick: :D
Like you said though, it don't take a lot to get alot more out of them (the GTO's that is).

Thanks!
I wanted to keep the stock hood for another year and throw on a hood later, but that decision was taken out of my hands when a Jeep Wrangler with a rear mount tire backed into my parked and unoccupied Mustang creasing the hood.  The Steeda hood is on right now and SHOULD be getting painted as I type this (the body shop is a 5 minute WALK from my house!)

I had actually thought about different emblems for the side quarters.  The ones in the pic are what I would go with (with the red area painted blck for my car), but sadly I cannot find them anywhere........

That's exactly right!  Someone makes new ones.  I just can't remember -- or find -- who.

Looking good Paul wish I could have been there. Looking at the back round that place looks familiar.
