New best for the XR-7 April 22, 2007, 11:11:29 AM Went racing last night at Summit Motorsports park(Norwalk raceway) and had a new best time with out the nitrous. (This time is from 1st round elim. and pumping the gas on the big end to try and not breakout(which I did an lost :( dial - 12.9r/t - .01860' - 1.830330' - 5.3211/8 - 8.196 @ 85.71 mph1000 - 10.6821/4 - 12.792 @ 105.50 mphCan't wait to spray that 100 shot now!!!!!!!!!!! Me and computers are like oil and water.My mods are pretty much the normal bolt ons for a 5.0underdrives,stock air box w/ panel filter(K & N),LT headers,edelbrock heads,GT40 intake,comp cam,2800 stall,4:10s out back,65mm tb,73mm maf,1.72rr. Nothing to get excited about...I know the best 60ft was 1.702(spraying). Believe me, I'd find the slip if it moved me up in the standings :D. The best NA was 8.41(ran last year just prior to the dial on the sig pix), that was with a normal belt, the 8.42 1/8 on my "offical" 1/4, was with a short belt bypassing the P/S...Best Nitrous pass was a 7.82(on the 1.702 short time), again same setup as on the 1/4 nitrous slip... I ran the 1/8 mile time first, then ran it 1/4 mile to see if I could beat that time(close but no cigar)... Quote Selected
