Why I LOVE going to PIR!

Friday night 05/04 I went to Test-N-Tune at PIR (Portland International Raceway). I was the first car down the track and the last one before they closed. I made THIRTY passes!! Yes 30! I paid $23 for a night of racing and got 30 passes with my truck (yes, Layla's still not done, John's TC is still turbo-less, and the Sport is still a no-start). However, I made 5 passes in the 18.3's, set a new personal best for both ET and MPH as well as 1/8 marks and 60's. The truck ran perfect all night. (18.308@72.12, 2.422 60') I love this track!! I really need to get Layla done though, 30 passes is something that could break the speed limit would rock! (And YES my lights kicked butt all night again. .108 was the worst to a .008 best. .045 is my average)

I made 27 passes in one night last year, in my Stang. me and a Camaro were the only two there for the entire first hour. It was a blast. Got it all on video too.
