Anybody used or know of anyone who has used one of these eBay Aluminum Radiators? Looks like a killer deal if there's no problems with them.

That looks alot like the Jegs Aluminum Radiator. From what I hear they are good units.

Don't think being 1 row that it would cool much better than a brass 2 row but would definetley weigh less.

Almost all aluminum radiators are 1 row.

Just keep in mind that's probably a chinese radiator.

I got a '93 Cobra chinese knockoff radiator off ebay a year or two ago and I haven't been overly impressed with the quality (it is copper & brass).

It had a bunch of loose solder inside it, and it sprung a small leak after I'd had it in for less than a year, though I ran some stop leak through it and it seems to have stopped it.

The summit radiator i have and most i've seen on ebay are 2 core and much thicker.

Did anyone see the 3 row Mark VII radiator at the bottom? It's copper, but would it fit?

It's a 1 core. That explains the 139 dollar price.

I use the Summit/Jeg's (made by the same people) 2 core universal and have been very happy. I think I paid $ 159 2 years ago.

My 87 TC 460 runs at 180 all night long at the track with some runs 5 minutes apart... very pleased with the results.

I saw the 73 lincoln radiator.

I ran a 1969 lincoln Continental radiator with those huge tanks for years in the Gray 460 Bird.

When it sprung a leak out of one of the top cores, I replaced it with a Summit/Jegs housebrand 2 core aluminum.

Anyway, those early Lincoln rad. will fit a fox body. (barely)

Maybe I'm mistaken in what I read...

I'm thinking that what I read was that a 1 row aluminum radiator will out-cool a 2-row ( or was it 3 row?) copper & brass radiator.

I shoulda bought an aluminum radiator when I got mine. I dunno why the hell I didn't.

Yes. You will need to cut the rubber on the uppersupport brackets a little bit though.

Yeah, I've heard that too...aluminum doesn't transfer heat as well as copper & brass do.

Yet everyone swears their car runs cooler with an aluminum radiator (plus I think people like them for the weight savings, my three-core weighs a ton).

All I know is, I upgraded to a three-core '93 cobra style radiator over the stocker, and didn't notice much of a difference in cooling ability. Which I don't understand, because I'm running dual 12" fans in a shroud, and the car really doesn't cool off any faster.
