Interesting to find out that My 84 has the 5.0 that was added in 87-88.:D

Well, I didn't write that...Jon Mikelonis basically compiled the info from my site and rewrote it for the article. But his implication is that factory performance Cougars were "the most exciting...from 67-71, 84-86, and 89-90". Of course, that's one opinion. Since the article was about a supercharged XR7, there would tend to be a slight bias. The points could be argued all day...in the end it's an opinion based in part upon fact but open for interpretation.

But do I agree with Mike. Four-eyes rock da hizzouse. :headbang:

True Dat! I just thought it was funny that he misprinted that info. Not to demean anyone. The whole thing was a matter of opinion, not everyone likes everycar. Oh well. Life goes on.
