Dual -> Single Fuel Pump

I'm looking at getting the 'Bird street worthy after sitting for ten years. I believe the fuel pumps have taken a . I would like to convert to a single pump v the two pumps I currently have in the 84. Is this a simple swap? I did a search and didn't come up with anything. I believe it would be a matter of switching out the whole fuel pump assembly etc. Any help is greatly appreciated.
