whats an aerobird go for these days?

If you check the user rides section you'll see pictures of my car.  right now im rebuilding the transmission, should be done by this weekend.  saturday hopefully.  Ever since i got the thing every oil change, something breaks.  i spend half my time under the hood or under the car fixing it.  when i got it, it wouldnt run.  it'd die at a dead stop in traffic or at a stop sign/light.  got that fixed but then the car would stall when i let off in overdrive, of course b/c it was in gear it was basically rolling starting at 60mph.  sounded like the driveshaft washiznitting the bottom of the car.  then i was riding down a NICE gravel road and the right front sway bar link broke.  Then i hit a deer goin about 45-50mph, so i had to replace the hood, drivers fender, headerpanel, everything but the pasenger fender and bumper cover.  yes, the core support is a bit damaged but everything fits right and the structure of the car is sound.  the drivers door has a slight dent in it from the ass end of the deer slamming into it.  there are a few dents and dings on the quarter panels, not bad at all, bit of bondo and a paint job would fix it up.  The cigarette lighter is out for the second time.  i have a full center consol but the latch on the armrest cubby bin is broken and wont latch closed.  when the "change oil" light comes on the speedo stops working.  its bone stock besides the oem replacement parts i've put on there, costing well over the value of the car.  its got a moonroof and it works, but the slider that goes over it lost the liner so it's bare metal.  the interior on a scale of 1-10 is about an 8 asside from the tiny broken bits.  the floormats are from a 84 grand prix.  oh and the entire int is red. the dash is cracked in 2 places.  keyless entry works, the buttons in the glovebox for the fuel door and trunk both work.  the engine is covered in oil b/c the distributor seal is gone.  and at the moment there ATF along the entire bottom of the car.  but with the transmission fixed its reliable.  brand new shocks (all 4) in the rear, 20 year old struts in the front.  the paint is nice except for said dents and where bird shiznit had sat in the sun and ate through the paint in i think 2 places.  everything basically works like the antenna switch, the 8 way seats work, the electric mirrors work, and both window switches work along with the lock and unlock switches work. the right front headlight lense is gone and the left front is yellow as the sun.  i've tried everything to clean them but nothing.  the inner daytime lights are gone.  both corner lights are gone, passenger side has the light still in it, but the driver side doesnt.  the trim on the pass infront of the wheel is gone, and theres no trim on the drivers fender.  trim except the plastic trim behind the rear wheel is faded.  some of the stock oem silver trim is missing.  i think if i were to sell it i'd take out the speakers, but for a 50 dollars more i'd leave them in and i have the factory head unit to go right back into it's place.  the a/c is dead, heater works, and its got climate control.  cruise control works, but sometimes when you hit the off button it speeds up.  its a sound car, its just 20 years old and its sitting on its death bed whispering "hey you see that plug over there?  will you pull it please?"

i belive the car is valued mint at 750 dollars.  this car would be a good daily driver, an excelent parts car, or even a car to part out.  if i were to put a reserve on the car it'd be around 1750.  seeing as this is my only car and i need something to get to work and school i have to have that much at LEAST.

This isnt a for sale car yet  i was just wondering what you guys think of it and if i could get what im asking for it?

i figured as much...  but i mean the car is in great shape.. it just falls apart one piece at a time.  if you guys wouldnt want it, i may as well go ahead and sell it to a mustang guy.  i could get 250 for the running engine.

btw vinnie.. im prolly ganna end up deleteing the smog pump, offroad x pipe, dual exhausts, headers, and the ho swap... but i might just take it to the crusher and get the 250 bucks from just the s metal.

so i guess this is the only opinion on what its worth?  no one needs any parts from it?  dont need a good 5.0l with about130,000 miles?  the chassis is perfect except a slight bend on the left front core support.  im being honest here.... i mean if you guys wouldnt want it, no one will and you may as well consider another aerobird crushed into a cube of s metal.

I can see 1000 bucks for that car.  Since it is minimal damage.  Just about every 20 year old vehicle will have parts going out on it like crazy.  But it does get better.  I've changed just about every part on my car and it's pretty reliable now.  Not to mention if i ever got another bird just like it i'd have an autozone warranty file to replace everything!

well after running around today forever trying to find a transmission oil cooler and the lines and fittings, gutting the cats, replacing the tq converter, i just put too much time into it in the last week.  i'd say i could have the ho swap in about 2 months and a tc rear.  so ****it i'll keep it.  i got a lot of work on my hands tho.

i went to the summit racing store today and got the atf cooler, but its a piggy back system.  meaning i have to frankenstein the whole deal.  im ganna mount the cooler infront of the radiator and rout the rubber (i dont like it but thats all i can find) hoses through the tunnel away from the exhaust.  the vibrations from the steel lines next to the exhaust is what blew out the fittings.  thus i then burned up the tq converter driving it 20 some odd miles.  what was really screwed was the fittings that go into the radiator is ase, the fittings going to the trans is metric.  so i have to mix match fittings to get it to work right.  plus i gotta find enough goodyear atf hose to make its way to the trans itself.

The next time i go get the fittings im ganna go ahead and get the smog pump delete idler pulley and figure out what im ganna do with the hole left over in the y pipe untill i get X pipes etc.  man being at the summit store was like a toy store.  but what pissed me off was 90% of the parts on display and such were for chevys..  i mean they have EVERYTHING chevy from 454 4 bolt main cast blocks to holly nitrous carbed intakes.  what do they have for ford?  a few things here and there.  unlike the cattalogue there wasnt a 5.0/4.6 section in the store.  PLUS the guy helpin us find the right cooler was a freakin ASSHOLE.

i was hoping to get all i needed to day but everyone closed too soon, so im ganna have to gather the parts before or after work.  at least i know what i need tho.
