i guess im too young to know when they bought aston martin. why was it so weird?
 
personally i thought it was pretty cool that ford owned them. oh well, not like im sad now LOL.

Ford bought a few of the British Leyland Co.'s Including Jaguar and A-M. If I remember GM bought up a couple others with the rest going to european or Saudi bankers.

i heard ford is going belly up filing chapter 11 and are ganna be completely bought out.

It's NOT Chapter 11, but they did something else:

There's been rumors for years that Ford AND GM have filed bankruptcy...only Chrysler did, however...and they paid the Federal Govt. back 7 years early...
Not to bust balls, but a simple google will solve the "I heard that......" rumor mill stuff :D
