rear sag Reply #1 – March 04, 2007, 10:36:38 PM changing rear springs is easy. have the rear of your car on jack stands, support the rear end, undo your shocks, and lower the rear then remove the springs and install the new ones and reverse the process. very easy Quote Selected
rear sag Reply #2 – March 04, 2007, 10:41:49 PM cool, thanks. i hope this won't sound stupid, but i was afraid of the springs shooting out. Quote Selected
rear sag Reply #3 – March 04, 2007, 10:57:05 PM that happens on the front, with the rear the springs arn't under constant pressure, and when you jack up the car it lets preasure out Quote Selected
rear sag Reply #4 – March 05, 2007, 12:03:23 PM I've changed mine in less than 15 minutes....no lie,it's that easy.Just unbolt the top nut on the shocks and lower the rear.I had my car up on jackstands already and used a floor jack to lower and raise the rear. Quote Selected
rear sag Reply #5 – March 05, 2007, 09:21:37 PM what points would be best to support the body? Quote Selected
rear sag Reply #6 – March 05, 2007, 09:39:17 PM When I took the rear springs out of my car I supported it by the small section of subframe rail in front of where the front of the rear lower control arm attaches to the body. You'll see it. Quote Selected
