questions bout 86 cougar

I looked at a 1986 mercury cougar today. the vin code was partially faded on door sticker so i couldnt really get much out of that. but some of the codes n questions i have are
Body : 66D
Ax : 8 (non locking 2.73)
Int : AB (individual Buckets regetta blue)
the car's paint is faded couple dings nothing major. some of the clear coat is peeling in some places. it has digital dash cluster. 3 speed automatick with 3.8 it has aftermarket wheels on it i beleive they are modern? modular 10 holes. interior door pbuttstuffs are pretty much trashed. duel power windows and mirrors. am/fm radio, clock
Mileage according to dash is 131k miles. also the 3.8 burns/leaks some oil but runs good, and transmission does not seem to slip nor smell burnt. If yall have any more quesitons let me know. i am curious to see what a good price to offer for it would be? KBB shows 525 in that condition for an 87 since they no longer have 86 model year.

can anyone give me an idea what kind of offer seems reasonable? i am thinkin 300ish sounds good?
