shaving emblems

ok i wanna shave the emblems to give it a cleaner look. now when i remove those emblems will there be any sun damage under there once i remove the snot.

they have small studs on all the emblems even if you get the glue off (wich is rock hard) you will have small holes

does the one from the dealer have studs? looks to me like its just glued on

The trunk emblems are 3m taped on,that i do know,both my bird's have been this way.
The front and side are bolted on, so bodywork will be required in these areas.

the turbocoupe is taped, the thunderbird has 2 small  alighment pins

Oh and yes, as you asked, there will be an outline from the emblems visible in the paint because the paint behind them won't have faded like the rest of the car.
