Another rear suspension question...

Me again!!!:dunce:

I want to install a rear stabilizer bar on My bird, I see in My books it bolted on the rear arms (left and right) with two bolts...

My question, this stab bar is only on a TC and some full sports Tbirds, and at the junkyards the birds are very rare, on what Ford branded I'll take this rear stab bar?, stang? or???...

At the junkyards near Me (I have 5 or 6) the birds are here don't have this option...

Thank for Your help...

ANY rear stab bar from a Mustang (79-04) or any other Fox-chassied car (except the Lincoln Mk7) will bolt up.

Okay, I'll check on stangs (most popular in a syard) or for box styled tbird/cougar...

Thank You very much for Your quick response...

Have a nice Day...

My base 5.0 'Bird had a rear stabilizer - it was pencil-thin and probably didn't stabilize much, but it was there. It's gonna be replaced with the TC one once I actually start doing that TC rear swap/CHE arm upgrade, etc.

Perhaps it was part of a trailer towing package or something - the car also had 10" drums

Thunderchicken,

I see in a pics on My mechanical books the stab bar appear a bit little in diameter, But I guess If I found one in a BOX bird/cougar it's bigger a bit cauz the car is little bigger too...

Vinnie,
