Map vaspoogee where’s it go

Alright real stupid question. I’m re-hooking everything back up after doing my head gasket and noticed my map sensor on the back firewall has an open vacuum and I can’t think where it goes I don’t even think I disconnected it so I was probably driving with it disconnected. Any help would be appreciated thank you in advance.

If your car is a speed density system (factory) then the MAP sensor port should be connected to the Manifold Vacuum port (MAP = Manifold Absolute Pressure). Mass Air Flow systems use a BAP sensor, which is open to tmospheric pressure

Yes the car was MAF converted I should of mentioned that. The computer is A9P E9ZF. I don’t see where on the upper intake it would hook up does it go on one of the vac spots by the brake boost.

from what the other guy said,, it should be open to the world  if it is maf.,, i dont know the answer.
I never had a maf system,, when i do then i guess ill have to learn.

Yeah, on mass air you just leave it open to measure outside barometric pressure- ie.- elevation. On the speed densities, though, on the stock intake's upper manifold there is a vacuum T underneath on the driver's side, that screws into the manifold, one side of that T is for the MAP sensor.
