welding question

I was watching Trucks today and they showed how to put a new patch panel on a truck useing an epoxy stuff, holds as good as welding, does anybody know or have used this stuff
 and where to get some so i can try it out

It is still more cost effective to braze or weld the panel in. epoxy the lazy mans way of trying to do bodywork.


P.S you local automotive paint store should carry it. Ask for some 40/40 and an aplicator gun

Thats what we use at the dealer I work at. Saves time and bonds easier. I cant remember the name off the top of my head.

the stuff looked like it really worked on the show, it is called Speedgrip. may try it on a small patch job i have to make

going to parts source to talk with them about it, need to know if it will sy\tand up to the cold weather up here in Canada, my car, once done will not see winter driveing anymore bt will be sotred in an unheated garage.

DuraMix is the stuff that oreilly's sells. It comes in sorta a dual tube stuff and hardner. they also sel the stuff at eastwood.
