Torque convertor????

Hey guys long time no see.
Bird's be doing well with the supercharger on her.
I bought a New Lentech stret terminator from a guy on ebay for 860us
(i know killer deal for a 3500us trans)and it comes with a bracket master 3500 stall convertor.
Now currently i'm running a 2400rpm stall(which i'm told is good for a 3800lb car) and i'm wondering if it's a good idea to put in the 3500rpm one????
Will the car be alright with that high of a stall???
What are you guy's running for convertors???

that high of a stall is better for drag racing i think, i see alot of the mark7 guys running 3000 stall converters.  but the way i see it, that guy probley had the car setup for a drag car, and yours is a street car. then again, people also tell me that a converter should be made for the car its going into, and to not buy a general aftermarket TC for say, a mustang... sry i probley didnt help any

Stock mark7 would probably be close to the weight of my car currently with all my stereo gear and the 5.0L HO.
Not sure what the guy had the car setup for but it was in a 98 mustang which is a bit heavier than the older 93 and prior ones.
It does have the wrong bellhousing(4.6-5.4L) but it is changeable through their website as it has there custom belhousing option.

That's probably a good stall if you've got the trans brake feature.  If you've got anything less than 3.73's it might be a little too much, but other than that you'll need to get some good slicks and some strong axles.  Have fun!
