The "I Have No Life and I'm Home On New Years' Eve" Thread!

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm just glad this ed year is over. Hurricanes, illnesses in the immediate family, even stupid  like my football team suckin' ass this year.. all that sort of  made 2004 a pretty lame year for this household.

But not all is lame in the world. This ends my first calendar year in the CoolCats realm. I have to say that, of all the places I've been in over a decade of Net use, (not even counting single- and multi-line BBSes in the late 80s and early 90s) this one has its chit together more than any I can think of. The peeps in charge are cool and helpful, the regulars are a pretty good lot, and the whole place is insanely useful.

So here, feel free to use the thread to bitch about 2004.. or give some virtual love to someone who's helped ya.. or whatever. It's the Lounge.. so lounge around on New Years. :p

yeah this year blew the big one. i was ok for me untill the end it's all just come crashing down on me now. i hope 05 is beter buit i dont think so .
trick flow street heat intake , 24lbs injetors, ported GT-40's (Chip) long tube headers. and a Performance Automatic C4, with a hurst shifter!

speaking of new years,,, we were all out to see a band, and the ball was about to drop on the big screen TV,, one problem though, i did not see the ball fully drop!! They did not have the cameras set up right or something.  did anyone see the ball go all the way down?  what a , first time in a long time that i have not seen the freaking ball drop.
It was very odd, kind of bugs me and the wife, we were just a little disappointed.

On a side note,, new years came in as usual.  Im drinking at my own snail pace , 2-3 beers per hour watching everyone around me act like live comics :giggle:  Its a fun time of the year.

but it sure was a good way for 2004 to tell me to piss off

the thing that sucked, i met a real cute asain girl (what white guy doesnt have a soft spot for an asain girl), and things seemed to be going good, then the food poisoning hit, and it was hard to be all nice and sweet when it feels like youre going to drop your stomach out your ass

I was so ripped on gin and tonics last night (about half a 1.75 bottle of gin) that I was laying awake in bed about 7-8 this morning going over everything I could remember, trying to determine if any of it was hideously embarrassing. I tell ya, of all the things I've had to drink in the last decade, gin and tonics are THE most lethal.. a good G&T goes down like 7-up even with 3 shots of gin in the cup. By 11 PM I didn't even realize how much I'd had. This is why I don't drink them more often. :p At least with cheap beer, you always *know* you're having cheap beer. :p

I think the worst has to be home made alcohol because it is so cheep.  The high price of booze never slows you down :)    coughcoughmoonshinecough

I got kicked out of my house. I had to get all of my shiznit into my car and my gf's parent's van, cuz my asshole dad threw it all onto the patio and it was gettin' rained on (including my computer, guitar, my mustang ECU, stereo equipment, etc.). So now I'm stayin at my gf's until I can figure out wtf I'm gonna do. Happy new years eh?
