1996-1998 Mustang GT wheels

Has anyone had any experience with these wheels?
I am wondering if the 10 hole center cap would happen to fit them or if anyone knows of a plain cap that would fit.

Thanks,
Brent

Talk to Nate. He's got them. I'm betting the answer is no.

sweet. you can get the painted ones cheep too. buyfordraceing has them for like 95 bucks each, the silver painted ones. oem ford content too. you can get them super cheep used too. the polished ones like the ones i have are a little tougher to get cheep. i dont know why but no-body wants them. i love em' they look aggressive but suttle.

no center cap that i'v tried fits them, how ever i did post in the forum under for sale, or vendors a site that sells blanks. and i have tried tc, 10 hole, mn-12, and some other center caps with no luck. they are all just a little bit off.

i suppose if someone was super deturmined, and boared they could cut the center out of a turbo coupe cover and the center of the mustang one and then custom fit it in there. are they both aluminum?

That sounds like a possibility, but I am thinking about maybe hammering the "pony" out and sanding it smooth. Then having a decal made with the appropriate logo and put it on the cap. I haven't had one in my hand yet, but I am assuming that they are aluminum.

If there aren't any known caps out there that will fit as Nate said, that may explain why I haven't seen these wheels used on many other cars yet. But then it could be a matter of taste too.:dunno:

I like Cobra wheels that Shane 302 posted but personally I think the style is too "aggressive" for the '84-'86 XR-7 body style.

if you got the flat ones you could epoxy or 3m tape some embems on there. some of the later mn12 tbirds had these "jelie" emblems glued to the center caps of their wheels. they were kind of a clear rubbery meteriol with print on the backside. they are kind of like the tbird emblems in the steering wheel center of the 87-88 tbirds (dont know if any of the other cars have them as i only have experiance with 87-88s). i had pulled one out and glued it to the bottom edge of my rear view mirror at one point.
anyway....figured id put that out there.

I don't think they are as "aggressive" as the 10th Anny Cobras. Actually, I think they would look great on your car. :D
