Define 'rare'.

If by 'rare' you're referring to a 1983 model built in 1987...then yes, it would be 1 of 1. Of course, slight warping of the space-time continuum would have had to occur for a 1983 car to be built 4 years after the actual model year. Unless you're Carroll Shelby, then it's okay.

If by 'rare' you are referring to 39,144 original miles on that car, then yes, it's quite uncommon.

If by 'rare' you are referring to http://www.pethelsusedcars.com, which does not work once you get there, I'm afraid there are a lot of dead-end websites out there. Can't help with that one.

Ah...I see them now...another Windows/IE-centric site that locks out any functionality for different browsers and platforms. Wonderful. Well, wrong year and horrid website peformance...that's two strikes...

Car seems nice though. ;)

Looks like a pretty clean car, but with the year and VIN off, I'd be suspicious to begin with.
