I know the stock air cleaner draws air from outside and cooler is better but on the other hand an open element air cleaner will take in much more volume. The factory stye air box/cleaner are restrictive. The idea is to remove the restriction so you get more air eazier. Also makes the motor louder than with the factory setup. Quote Selected
