Finally got it out of the garage for a bit and the weather was nice so I snapped a couple pics.

Still waiting on a couple parts yet to get it running....;)
man that car is sharp! gives me hope for mine, lol
those wheets are hot! :D they actually look even better when they are moving. I normally don't like the removed body trim on the sides, but whatever you did it looks great.
Well it's not all back on as I still have not found pieces for the doors. I am going to reinstall the rear piece (between the wheel well and the bumper) when I get some more tape. I installed the front corner light piece today. I'll leave the stuff off inbetween the wheel wells for now.
looking good Chuck, wish the 83 TC dad gave me looked that nice. It has some rust in weird places :yuck:
Chuck thats nice.... REAL NICE...
That car looks real good man and it sits perfect...!!!!
so is it still the turbo 4?
For now. This is the car that will be getting the Aussie/US200 I6 hybrid....
Right now I just want to drive it though...so the 2.3T is still the motivating force.
wheres the fog lights? and can i have the clear signal covers hehehe just kiddin.. ill look for my own :-| sharp car chuck b-) how many miles on it?
The fogs are in the garage waiting for new bulbs. If you want clear signal covers...they were on the 83's ;)
I honestly have no idea how many miles....the only thing "original" on the car is the body (and even only the hood and the shell are original)....and it wasn't a TC to begin with :hick:
:idhitit: That is all.
Good gawd that TC is stunning. :)
very nice, clean and razor sharp.
Clean, I may have to drop by and take a look at it, seeing as I'm 20 miles from ya. I'd like to know where around here your getting that chrome tape as the chrome on my black tbird is horrendous and I think chrome on black is shag.
Chrome tape?
Thanks for all the compliments guys!
At first when I saw you were gonna ditch the 2.3 i was like "eh another guy ditching it for a v8" but then I saw the I6 part, and then i was like hey thats unique.
lol chuck i doubt id be able to find an 83 tbird here with clear turn signal covers that aint broke..... dont think the 83 cougars had clear ones either so.... less options there lol.... i could just take some clear plastic for em :-?
looks good!
One day, I'll have a 4-eye bird, one day.
Looks great Chuck.
Looks awesome. BTW, I'm sure you've said it before, but who did the cage?
The cage was made my me. I re-did the back-half recently, but the mainhoop and front bars were done 5-6 years ago at least.
everytime i see pics of that car. i need to spend some time "alone, contemplating the mysteries of the universe".... heheh..
it is one georgious car.
chuck, you seen the pics of the new FSPP head? did you ever get your xflow?
I've seen the FSPP head...still not a X-Flow though...
Speaking of which, yes I have my parts.

Just been to busy with "personal" matters to do much with it and I'm still wanting to get the car on the road as it is for the time being.
can we see your engine setup or is it a surprise?
Y es..it's top secret.:deal:
Really there's nothing too fancy about what's in there and when I get the last of the stuff hooked up I'll get a couple more pics. There are actually a couple pics from last week in my other thread HERE (http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=8541);)
thats sharp, and clean. Props.
Now if I can just get the time to get mine done...
