I'm supposed to be sleeping (10 hr road trip) but I was too anxious to see what the Bird would look like with the 5-lug conversion complete. The pics suck because of the narrow driveway and that was about as far as I was going to push it. Anyhoos here are the pics.

All she needs is a few odds and ends and she'll be roadworthy. :D
One of these days I'll get the 5 lug conversion project underway. I have something else planned first though......
Looks good:D . Is that the lighter shade of Ford engine blue or the darker late sixties "corporate blue" on the intake and valve cover? BTW I thought that the TC was going to get junked because of that strut tower rust issue?
Very sweet dude.
My main suggestion, get a 3G alternator as soon as you can. Youll be amazed at how much better everything works.
Thanks. I believe it is the lighter shade... I'll check when I get home. The TC is still destined to be junked and it's parts donated to either darkthunder or if by some stroke of luck, a rust free, ultra cheap 87-88 TC happens to cross my path in the mean time. :)
Thanks. I should be getting a 3G from shame302 here soon.
You used the Duplicolor Ford Blue too didn't you?:D I used it because I like it better than the later dark Ford Blue.
Show off!:hick: :giggle:
Speaking of which I need to get pics of the Tbird since I took it out two weeks ago. I got those radiator support decals and my new negative batery cable, batery tray, and batery. Looks even better now;)
The Duplicolor Engine Enamel I've noticed shows up much lighter in pictures with a flash, but in reality it's the right shade of Dark Ford Blue.
