so i finaly started to work on my 2.3 turbo conversion again.
i got it all complete, and went down to the track in october, and pulled a 9.8, and a 9.9 in the 1/8 mile,
drove it home (about 30 min drive ) and there was a loud knocking noise, couldn't figure it out,....pulled number one plug, and it was clean as a whistle. but the motor ran like shiznit..no mater what RPM you ran it .. it ran like ....1200 RPM...5000 RPM...didn't care,
so finnaly today, after finding my interior all moldy, i cleaned some of it out..and wanted to work on the motor...
pulled all the plugs...and number 3 ..the elctrode was bent not just smashed shut...BUT full out bent to the side...straightened it out..and fired it back up...ran better than it did before
but still runs like ...what could be wrong..why won't this thing run smooth like every other freaking car ?!
i also double checked my wiring today...with the turbo swap conversions.....like 88 LA3 to the 89 mustang FOX ECU
and also did the pin 24 to pin 46 premium fuel option too, .
where shall i fix next ?! should i just throw this motor out and build me a new one ?! throw parts at it ?! i'm out of ideas !!
i almost forgot, i hallowed out the upper intake, and cleaned the outa it...would that make a difference ?!
also, when i take off the oil fill cap....my mustang almost dies....could it be cause i hooked up the air inlet to it ?!
any buddy got an idea on how to hook up the oil system ?! can any one take a close-up shot of there motor from dead top ?!
is any one gonna answer me !?
