and yet some more. First off hte block went into the machine shop for some freshing up, I had them do an alignment hone, bore the cylinders .030 over and deck the block. It also received a chemical bath *reason for the eaten away paint), new freeze plugs and all bearings repalced. The heads and block are both going to be "Old Ford blue" all accy will be black unless it its already aluminum. So far at this point i have $900 into the reuild, Including the full gasket set, bearing, pistons and rings. Ill add the other stuff in as i install it.

Well Today I installed the Crank, Pistons, lifters and cam. The crank was turned 10 under and the pistons were 30 over. these prices were included in the machine shops price so at this time my price is till only 900. Lifter's cost about $70 from summit. Camshaft was 160 from summit a trick flow Stage 1. total price is currently at $1130.00. This week the heads rockers and push rods will be installed.

350+ to the wheels,  420+ at the fly.  Thats naturally aspired next year its getting a blower.  These figures are from desktop Dyno W Hp is calculated with a 17% tranny loss.  So i wont know for sure until i take it a chassis dyno after teh break in.

i know my old 88 302 shortblock is still there 1 69 351W is there and 2 of my 351 cores are there.  He did have a few 302s kicking around but he is getting calls and leting core motors good for cheap.
He just sold a 440 compleat ready to rebuild motor for 200 can.

Core heads are worth that alone.
