Title: tighter handeling
Post by: 460 turbo truck on September 27, 2005, 01:24:54 AM
what's gonna be my first step ?!

Aftermarket front and rear sway bars ?!

Uni-body frame kits ?

front tubular A-arms ?!

Lowering and setting my caster to -1.0" ?

doing the 5 lug swap and switching to 15's instead of 14's

What's the best bang for the buck right now ?!

A lot of folks around here say the very first step when you're firming up the handling is to get subframe connectors (as you put it, unibody frame kit, same thing).  I think it was Chuck who said he did a lot of suspension work before putting on SFCs and ended up with a cracked windshield.

Yup....stiffened the suspension up and wound up popping a windshield on an uneven road (not even from driving or lauching the car hard).

Get chassis stiffening on there first
