I recently stripped my messed up sunroof shade and re-flocked it with material I got here: https://www.flockit.com
It was a tedious job, but it came out nice.
That turned out really well.
Pretty flocking nice! ;)
It's always bugged me that the factory shades always looked like after just a few years. This is a great restoration solution. Thank you for sharing!
This actually exists! Wow, now I can fix up the salvage yard one I bought. Thanks for sharing :D
With my car, the arm rests and the door pockets are kinda sticky. Like the red vinyl is sticky. Wonder if this could be good alternative?
Have you tried Simple Green or warm water with Dawn dish soap using a Scotchbrite pad? This should help some followed up by a vinyl treatment from a reputable company like Meguiars. Sorry to hi-jack...
Ive tried simple green, it worked for a little while. Thats what I normally use to detail/clean interior bits. I think I had better luck with Goo-Gone. But clearly neither has permanently remedied the problem.
