Title: Carrier and pinion bearings

stupid question and trying to save money, i have an 8.8 tc rear end with 3.55 gears
i wanted to replace the clutch plates and all the bearings before i swap it into the car, will i have to re-shim the pinion and carrier if i just replace the bearings with oem ford?

trying to get my rear in shape for spring

Yes you'll have to re-shim it.
