Title: Battery Relocation

So, to the guys that have done battery relocations, what type of fuse breaker do you guys run for the positive side of the battery? Is something like this good? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_39103_Xscorpion-CB250A.html How many amps does the starter draw?

I dont use a fuse or a breaker. 

Depends on the engine compression ETC ETC. Normally not more than 220-250 AMPS on high compression big blocks. Gear reduction starters draw much less.  . Average is app 180 Amps.

dont go cheap

Heinemann breakers or Airpax DC breakers are the industry best.

Can you answer this question using your fox car on a scope, not sure if you have the ability to capture the inrush current or not, but this is a motor load hes talking about.  I dont have the right tool here at home to see the current.

Are you running the cable inside or outside the car? I'm running it outside and although I'm using welding cable wich is honestly pretty tough I kinda want that extra insurance. I'll probably just pick up that 200amp fuse breaker just for piece of mind.

I might just run the fuse breaker and pick up a kill switch and mount it somewhere on the back bumper. As i do plan on racing the car after i get a 351w swap together.
