5 Speeder it is on the clutch bracket. under the dash.

Sorry, I forgot to say it's an AOD transmission. I'm trying to adjust the shifter so I can hear and feel a click between park and reverse, ect.. I adjusted the TV cable all the way out and I thought it was working, but I was wrong. Now my car won't start and I need to know if the neutral switch is the reason. Thanks!

I have maybe 4" of room to work and it looks like I get to make about 200ea. 1/16 turns before it will come out. What is the trick to getting my neutral switch out while still in the car?  Thanks!

One more question, Does the car need to be running in order for the back-up lights to come on?

I finally found a wrench that worked on my switch. I took it out and it has good continuity when the switch is depressed. It was only about 100ea. 1/8 turns to take it off, so it wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be (lol). Guess I'll be putting it back in tomorrow after I clean it up real good. Now I need to still figure out where that puff of smoke came from.
