We are gonna stick to a similar format as our previous meets with a couple tweaks to hopefully smooth things out and keep the event worthwhile for all involved.
There will be an open, and advertised, dyno day at Greg's(5.8fastcat) shop on July 28, 2012. This means there will be plenty of local rides for everyone to check out and watch spin the rollers.
If you plan to hit the dyno, lets us know ASAP and we will make great efforts to ensure every Thundercat has a slot in the schedule!

The dyno day will start early and wrap up around noonish. The cost is 1 pull for $40 or 3 for $75. Food will be on the grill for lunch.
After the dyno day FTBCF attendees will be hanging out for the afternoon, and we will venture to a local cruise-in for the evening.
Anyone who plans to come out for more than just Saturday's festivities, the local Days Inn has been the hotel of choice for our group. Rooms are clean, rates are reasonable, they have a pool, and no one has bothered us hangin out in the parking lot late hours in the nights.

Hope you guys can make it out! :roxor:
Dan checked on the cruise in schedule and that night is the "cruise in on the river"
It's something new they are trying here locally trying to get it as big as the "Somenite's Cruise"
Anyway it is held in our downtown area with free live band and such.
Anyway come join the fun
I'm working on a project car. If I can get it done in time I'd like to toss it on the rollers and see what it makes. If not, I'll be in the Marauder. Either way, looking forward to seeing everyone again.
Ray
Yep, can't make it again. Toledo Pro Solo is that weekend
I also would like to go, but this falls on my little boy's 1st B-day.
You can bring your son.
TTT
Greg , Paula is taking this years gathering off , but you can count on myself being there with her cougar on Saturday "all day" bud. :rollin:
I'll be coming down, but the Thunderbird won't!

Have a hang up that'll take awhile to recover from... I'll fill you in when I see you.
NOoooooo
I'll be there, with the T-bird. Hopefully it doesn't blow up on the dyno. 85 hp at the wheels?!
It'll be great to see you and catch up!
lol, the wife would not approve. Maybe in a few years when he's big enough to appreciate it!
Jeremy! It's been awhile. I can't believe you are still in Huntsville. :p
I'll probably be here a while longer, as long as the gub'ment signs my check!
Scott D , Your underbird is already there so just make plans to show up with the family bud. :poke:
'fo sho'! :)
Tried to recharge the A/C on the T-bird today (Driver side window clips fell out and passenger side window just doesn't work). Seems like I'm not getting enough fan flow even though I have a MN-12 fan with a DCC FK-35 (older PWM controller) and a SN-95 Cobra condenser. When I turn on the A/C, it should go to "100%" with the jumper configuration I have. Only goes to ~9.1V when Vbatt is 12+ volts. It's probably exacerbated because I swapped the stock HR980 for an FS6 instead of an 6P148A (IIRC, the FS6 has 15% more displacement than the 6P148A [Which is the stock compressor for 3.8s w/o HR980s]). Condenser overheats at idle unless I spritz it with water. Considering great stuff to seal up the condenser-to-radiator gaps. :mullet:
The car also started to stall out at idle. :punchballs: Tested the TPS, has open spots near the idle. Only O'Reilly carries the TPS in stock. Are our cars that old?!
Do junkyards even have our cars anymore? I've been really out of the loop for the last few years!
Also need to swap out the master cylinder and do a 3-2 conversion to get rid of the mushy brakes after my 5-lug conversion.
Nothing like deadlines to make for progress!
Doesn't look like the project car will make it to the show. I'll be rolling in the Marauder this year instead. :)
Ray , We like the Marauder too bud. :headbang:
TPS in, '93 Cobra M/C in. 3-2 Conversion in. Stops reasonably well. Still needs some A/C work. Both windows are nonfunctional. A/C is mandatory!
Jeremy , U can do it.....
Time is drawing near
Temps are supposed to be down some high 80's to Low 90's
Had a great time hanging out with everybody who came out to this gathering today fella's.

Thanks to everyone for a great weekend! Special thanks to Greg for hosting again this year, and thanks to anyone who shares their pics as I was too lazy to get out my camera.
See you all again soon!
Had a great time. Woowoo!
Back home from the trip. It was great seeing everyone again!
I'll get the pictures I took posted in a day or two.
Wish I could have made it, looks like a good time.
Maybe next year.
You can check out the pictures I took here:

Thanks  Ray 4 sharing your photos with us friend.
It was really great to see everone again! Enjoyed the little "get away" and the great cars in Owensboro. Thanks to Greg and his family for the hospitality!
The trip there through Indiana took 8 1/2 hours (including the hour for a traffic jam outside of Indy) and only 7 hours home through Ohio. Driving a Honda to Greg's was a different experience than the T-Bird (I could actutally hear the stereo..).
Hope we can pull it off again next year.
