I'm just about ready to put the radiator back into my T-bird after the HO/T5 swap. But my stocker is in rough shape after 22 years. What are you fellas using as replacements? Are the fox'stang rad's the same dimensionally and mounting points?? I was thinking of going with an aftermarket extra capacity aluminum unit and installing an electric fan.
There are ton of mustang guys around me with extra parts laying around so getting something off of them (stock or aftermarket) should not be a problem.
Thanks.
I have this one in the Sport....

It's been great, and inexpensive. It's a Mustang radiator, and it fit the Sport just like the factory piece. SO, I'd say they are the same.
Visteon 3 row....Visteon was the OEM manufacturer of the radiators for our cars. Stock ones were 2 row. It's a nice improvement.
Im using a aftermarket Mustang radiator, brass/copper type. Just what I had left from my stang. Works great, fit fine. Just had to tweak the upper clamps a little to fit over the slightly bigger tanks.
V-man , Your pm inbox is full bud. :D
I've run everything...if you're not concerned about looking stock, then an aftermarket aluminum radiator is pretty awesome. They last a long time and don't seem to get clogged nearly as much as a copper rad. I have a 2-row aluminum rad in the '84 and am really happy with it. There's a 3-row aluminum rad in the convertible that I can't say enough good things about. If you can get aluminum cheap enough, you won't regret it.
My 3 row was cheap, solid, and has been great........and looks awesome too.
