i have installed a few for customers with older cars.. it's pretty simple if you follow the directions with a great amount of detail.. stay away from cheap systems like most found on ebay! you will regret it! and when you go to install it, make sure you mount it in a good location so you can mount the antenna in a nice, clear spot, so you get good range out of it

Do you mean with a key fob or with the number pad? I added the factory number pad keyless, but I put the pad in a different place rather than cutting the door (though I'm *really* happy with where I eventually put it). There are upwards of 24 wires to connect, though you can skip a few if you don't have the factory alarm. It's straightforward if you take your time and have an EVTM to follow, and for me was a fun project.

This is what I used to put mine in. You want to be careful to use a manual that's correct for your car, and if the donor isn't from the same year be careful with the wire colors (though I'd be floored if they actually changed).
