Looking for a new battery for a stock 1986 cougar xr-7 2.3l tubro 4 cyl 5 speed.Car sits ,only a couple k a year drive.die hard is no good in ny winter.car never driven in snow. Can anybody recommend a good make, powerful direct fit battery p.s. also a new alternator.
I would buy an interstate battery. Have on in my 1972 Olds, fires right up no matter how long it sits.

Id buy an interstate, the one in my f150 is 12 years old still starts when it gets down to 5 degrees in winter
