Ran into this on Auto trader, this guys car is pretty sweet.

How are U supposed to read them there toooooooo far away while U wrap it around a light pole.

Plus those gauges are really rough on the eyes. I'd have a hell of a time reading something like that even in front of me, let alone WAY over like that. I'd have to stick to one full-sweep gauge per hole.

What MIGHT work in that spot, though, would be the digital gauges.. especially something simple like temperature. (I'd say less common ones like oil and trans temp) Something that's going to read "200" or "220" or whatever easily at a quick glance.

you would need angle rings to angle them towards yourself

I'd say the guy that put those in there wasn't too worried about monitoring his engine and tranny anyway, just wanted to look cool, I'll have to stick with above the radio and pillar pods
