Post by: amooset on March 22, 2010, 10:56:32 PM
Engine, computer and harness, trans, and exterior trim have been spoken for. Everything else is up for grabs.  I will get pics as soon as I am able. The car is dark blue as well as the interior.

Sent a PM.  How much for the front bumper cover, too?  Is it leather steering wheel?

Does exterior trim also include the window pillar post trims (the ones between the front windows and the opera windows)?  If those are still avaiable and they're the smooth ones, I'd be interested in getting them from you.

Nope! I need to know a bit more about what you're talking about, then I can get some pics to you.

Probably going to have to wait until the weekend to get around to pulling parts. I'll keep everyone posted.

Green arrow point to the two pieces I need.  As long as they are the smooth ones and not the ones with 'ribs'.

THANKS!

Vinnie, the console is in pretty sad shape, don't think you'll want it.  Otherwise the interior is very nice.

Jangus - I forgot to check the parts you wanted, will get to that by saturday.

xjeffs - you have a pm. The front bumper is cracked and the fog lights are also broken.

Cougargal- the black is flaking off of those trim pieces.

The center trim for the the radio and climate control is there, just not installed in the picture.  All of those pieces are in good shape.

That thing is my cars twin. Even the paint looks the same. On another note, how are the taillights? And how much for the drivers headlight and map pocket, if it still exists?

Do you want just the headlight, or parking lights and signals, too?  I don't know if there is a map pocket, that whole panel was missing.  It may be in the trunk.

I got a couple of pair of inner marker lights, but if the price is right I'd take the pair of headlights and the outer marker lights. Looking at the picture of the back window, I sort of see that the rear package tray is in about the same shape as mine.
I've decided to save the slightly wrecked TC in my back yard, so I'm going to need some lights.

The rear deck is faded and torn, not so good.  How about 100 bucks shipped for the whole set of lights?  That's roughly salvage yard prices in my experience.  If you're interested, we can conduct business via PM.

Vinnie - I took the trim panel off, it's in decent shape.  You have a pm also.

I'm going to repaint them anyway so that's not a problem.  Would it be possible for you to get a closer view of the side of the car showing those trim pieces so I can make sure they're the ones I need?  Also, does your car have the interval wipers?  If yes, I'd like to have the parts from under the hood that make them work (if not the entire wiper set-up).  Just me a price and we'll go from there.

THANKS!

I was planning to paint it anyway as long as it was the part that I needed.  Sadly, it's not the one that my Cat is missing ;-(

My interior trim is KB on an 85 cougar. It's two different shades of blue on the door panels. Are the door panels in good shape and can you get any pictures. Mine are kind of shot. Shipping to 32765

I will check, I think the door panels MIGHT be spoken for.  I will find out for sure and get back to you.  Do you want just the panels or the arm rests/ map pockets as well?  Panels are in good shape, the map pockets, not so much.

All of my pieces could probably stand replacement. The fact that they are screwed on helps keep the armrests, etc in place and fairly solid. I don't know if the color combo is popular or not, but we are trying to get what we can as we can afford to - if and when we can find them. Hard to come by though.

This car will around for one more week.  The rear is spoken for, The wheels are available, though I am hesitant to ship them.  PM me right away if you need anything.  Sunday is likely the last day I'll be able to pull parts.

If the rear axle is getting sped with the rest of the car, how about the rear drivers side caliper setup? eg caliper, bracket, bolts, hose, etc

Also, I'd be interested in the front spindles.
Thanks,
Chris

Thank you sir!

I pulled the door panels today.  The speaker grills are not in very good shape, both are broken at the top where they snap in.  The map pockets are scuffed up as well.  The screw covers on the pull straps are missing.  One panel has a bow in it from sitting in the trunk.  Arm rests and the panels themselves are in pretty good shape, just need some cleaning.  I will get pics when I can.  PM if you are still interested and we will conclude business there.  Thanks!
