You're in a hurry, and that generally leads to disaster. Are you putting things together,or making things go together. From the posts I've read of yours (no offense ata ll),you seem to be trying too much too soon without everything you need.I've stated before, take your time, gather everything you need, then work smart. We're all here if you need help, info,or whatever.
Why did you have to bend up the BBK's?The H-Pipe should be a simple bolt on to the headers....4 fasteners. Now,going from the H-Pipe to the mid-pipes,that's another story. Some welding, ball and socket connectors (where the two pipes mate up with ball and socket joints and s).Do you have pics of the areas you're having troubles with? Can you get some?
On the tranny, make sure that the TV cable (throttle valve cable....also known as the kick down cable) is adjusted properly, otherwise, damage to the tranny can happen REALLY fast.
Sometimes, tomorrow is a better day. ;)
It's the little stuff that gets me in a bind too.
Just take some time away, regroup, and attack again. Having plenty of rest and less distractions will always help.
(jeeze, I sound like some sort of self help guru....I'm not. now if I could follow my OWN advice, life would be ed peachy) :rollin:
If you had to dent your headers, your motor mounts are probaly shot.
the mounts seem to be in good shape, i just had to put a lil dent where the steering shaft was and im not really having much of a problem anymore, i just got frustrated yesturday and today i should be ok, vinnie i am not so much in a rush, iv honestly been taking my time to make sure its rite, i read where you said i may have to mod where my column shift linkage attatches to the frame, how should i go about doing this, any pics would help, o and im not doing exhaust out the rear of the car, im just gonna bolt up some lers and do turn downs or come out the side
You just unbolt the 2 bolts where the cross shaft mounts on the frame and enlarge the holes to give you a little adjustment to get it to clear the header.
o ok, kinda like adjustable slots, i gues im going to buy sumnuts and bolts while im at work 2day, and getting my lers so will be updated soon
