I thought it looked familiar.  Someone trying to flip it for a quick profit ehh?

So he bought it for $2500 OR LESS ---- cleaned it up ---- and (as he told me in an email) he now wants $4500 for it.

$2000 detail job.  If somebody could do good detail work and do two cars a week, that's be some decent money to put into the bank.

Interesting.

I do not see a vin sticker like we all have / had on the inner part of the fender well along the engine bay shot.

I dont think the paint is original.  Dont take me wrong, I love the car, i am just skeptical its all original.

I dont see why at any other time he couldnt get 4500 for it.  Now maybe not.

Maybe he bought it for (somewhere near) $2500 ---- having only seen the pics ---- and now that he's gotten it to his home in Arizona, he has discovered that the repairs to the dents are going to cost more than he's willing to pay ---- and so he has decided to sell it ---- or perhaps he just thought that it was a good car to flip.

Either way ---- more power to him.

I'm not trying to be negative ---- nor am I criticizing him for trying to make a dollar ---- but I think that going from $2500 (or less) to $4500 is too extreme.

Just my opinion.

I'm not sure they appeared on the early cars? I think they showed up around 1987.

Anyone have an early car with the vin decal?
