Why do no parts stores show a rear center soft line that's the same as the one on my car? It has a compression fitting on one and and a single banjo bolt on the differential end. All the parts the stores show have no banjo bolt but one compression on the chassis end and two on the other end of the cable on the differential end. Can anyone explain or show a picture of how these were used?
Also, does this look proper (picture is small) at rockauto? http://info.rockauto.com/getimage/getimage.php?imagekey=969080&imageurl=http%3A//info.rockauto.com/RB/H38611-007.jpg
What is stock on these and what are the differences between us, Mark VII's, and Mustangs? I have Mustang SS line for that spot but it's the single and dual compression fitting blocks. My hose is starting to crack on the OUTSIDE so I need to replace it immediately.
That looks like the one I have on the Sport.
So I should just buy it and hope it fits? What is the possibility of getting these in the future? Should I buy two and soak the second in fluid and seal it for the future? I talked to a shop and they say they just make these hoses onsite now.
It looks like the one I took off yesterday but I had to put it back on as no stores had the cable. Mine is showing some cracking on the outside but not quite leaking yet.
Isn't it like the Mustang?I believe it is,and they are really pumping out parts for the Fox Stangs.Anything they have that we can use is probably safe to guess they'll be around for a while. If you are too worried, just buy 3 of them and stash a couple away.
Mustangs apparently have hard lines split at that cable and run along the body until the hoses to the rear brakes. I had one that came with my SS fronts but it's not like ours. All the parts stores bring up Mustang pieces that have a split at the cable as this picture:

The one I received was like below which I'm assuming I was sent the wrong part as looking online pulls up 94-95 cobra?:

Perhaps it was/is the right package, looking at MM's rear cable:

The Dorman H38611 from rockauto fits great. One more less worry.
