Title: Clearcoat flacking off wheels
Post by: cyber-junkie on September 27, 2009, 01:15:54 AM
My 87 Turbo-Bird has the clearcoat turning yellow and flacking off, but some is stuck to the snow flake wheels and looks ugly, how do you fix?
Thanks

this won't harm them?...I don't know anything about bead blasting, just sounds harsh.
Thanks for the advice.

I am interested in the answers in this thread as well, Someone once told me to get all the clearcoat off the wheels and then polish.  But I am concerned what will happen to the wheels with no clearcoat, has anyone taken the clearcoat off?  Dave
