I read thru the whole write up on replacing these and even found the part # thru JC Whitney. When I looked the stuff up on JC's site it gives different part #s. Has anyone else done this and if so what did you use? I have to go on a tour of Colleges with my son and I want to get the stuff ordered so its here when I return. Thanks in advance.

Dan, you are correct. JC Whitney does change its numbers often on the same part. Don't know why but it makes things a little difficult for people with an older part number. As long as the general shape and dimensions of the part are the same, then the part number is irrelevant. All of the stuff I've ordered from JCW has been SofSeal brand.

Good to know I can get dew wipes from JC! Mine are almost non-existant!

Well Here is a pic of it finished, I did use the JC whitney part#'s from the write up on here. Came out good as new.

I'm wanting to know this too. My 86 is going to be getting painted in the spring and I want to get the body near perfect before then.
