good write up on the 88-92 lsc in the mag. talks about
the 5.0 too. interesting article.
i was just reading that yesterday, i had no idea they made 5 speed ones(roush modifided ones).
personally, i think it shouldve covered all the lincoln mk VII models from 84 to 92 instead of just the LSC ones as the model line wasnt too broad, ya know.
The car in the article belongs to the VP of the Lincoln Mk VII Club.
The 5 speed Mk VII GTCs are so rare that they really aren't worth talking about. It's estimated that only 5-10 GTCs received the Roush drivetrain, and most of those were in '84-'85. The Roush drivetrain was a 351 4bbl and a T5.
It's a lot easier and cheaper to just swap a normal Mk VII to a 5 speed than try to find one of those lol.
i know that, i meant they shouldve included the designer and non LSC lincolns(non HO, diesel) since im sure they couldve in the space the author had.
im not a fan of the mkVIIs but to me its nice to hear about any 80s cars besides mustangs and camaros.
diesels didnt qualify in the muscle catagory i guess.
