As the title states, I'm new here, but have been on the SCCOA for quite some time. I'm looking at a 1986 Thunderbird with a 351W with a 4 speed at the moment. Currently have a 1990 35th anniversary Supercoupe. Used to have a '87 Cougar 20th anniversary, but ended up wrecking it. Here are a couple of pictures of the two cars, unfortunately only pictures I have of the cougar are post-wreck. Thanks for looking, and I hope I can find some good info here!

Welcome. It seems another person from Ohio has found their way here.
Welcome.Always good to see new faces.......so to speak.
Welcome to the forum Sean !! :burnout:
Welcome
Welcome to the board !
welcome!!!!!!!! Soooo how fast were you going when you wrecked the cat????? Id say 45 -50.......
Welcome to the forum! Good to see another person on here that enjoys a SC'd V6 car. Sounds like you have an interesting Fox cat to put into your garage. What are you waiting for!!!
Welcome aboard. when was it wrecked?
wow, thanks for all the friendly welcomes! The wrecked cougar was a result of two elderly people running a red light. I was going 50 when I hit them so you are correct. They both ended up passing away from the accident and I escaped with only a broken wrist:(.
EDIT: The car was actually wrecked almost 3 years ago, (June 29, 2006) but boy do I ever miss it!
I really want to get ahold of that 86 with the 351 in it, I love the MN12 chassis, but there is something about the foxes that I love as well, especially with that big of a motor.
Here is the mod list for the SC:
Ported early blower with 10% overdrive, port-matched inlet plenum and 70mm TB, 76mm MAF, 3" cold air intake, removed air silencer, underdrive pullies, lightweight jackshaft, intercooler fan, ARP head studs, Magnaflow Resonator/no lers/no cats/V6 Mustang headers (tubular), B&M Ripper short throw, Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch, BHJ Balancer (more to come as well)
Thanks, your cars look pretty nice as well, especially the Cougar!
Very nice, I had a buddy that had a 91 SC, pretty cool cars, the M90 is a pretty good blower. You'll feel right at home on this forum. How much is he asking for the Cougar?
Welcome to the forum Sean, Nice looking SC and a 35th anniversary as well. Always wanted a TC or a SC(just bought a Turbo Cougar so that will have to do for now). I think your car would look right at home in my garage, I have a few 10th anniversary Birds here along with a 25th silver anniversary box fox.
Yeah, the SC's are absolute torque monsters, its insane, my car will go sideways at 40 mph. As for the cougar, he only wants $2500 for it, right now its flat black, needs paint, but I kinda like the flat black at the same time.
Name the right price and its yours, LOL JUST KIDDING SORRY! but if I ever decide to sell it, I'll let you know!
welcome to the club!
Buy it, buy it now you silly man! What are you waiting for! Talk him down a bit it probably isn't worth quite that much. I would see if you can go and take a look at it, take some pictures if you can. Lots of the guys on here are very helpful and will tell you what to look for, I do know that the strut towers tend to get a little rotten in some cases so its always good to look.
Welcome aboad fellow buckeye
Welcome :D I have a Fox and MN-12 as well but I like the Fox a whole lot better ;)
welcome to the site!
Welcome, I seem to be a little late to the welcome party
me too. welcome! seems the Ohioans are outnumbering us all, lol.
Me too, im glad i tossed my mn-12, a headache to work on..... if youre short on time...:hick:
Go buckeyes.
Well if us ohioian's r starting to outnumber everyone does that mean we got the most foxbody tbirds and cougars lol
You get the hang of it eventually, I can have the blower off in about 5 min, after that, its not so bad to work on.
I think its because we have the most time since there is
nothing to do in Ohio so we can spend a lot of time sitting behind a computer! lol
Welcome!! My wife drives an MN12 Bird (1994) as a DD. Unfortunately, it's a 180K 3.8 car with lots of rust. Too bad they can't all look like yours!!
